Thomson Blu Ray Player Update

I have the BDP-G23603B yesterday but Plugged it in today. Problem I had was when I put a Big Hard-Drive(2TB) into the USB that it got Stuck. Follow along with this video to learn how to get your new 4K Ultra Blu-ray Player setup and ready to go!

You can't guarantee any player is region free these days. Most are required to be set to Region 4 for Australia. The Laser range of Bluray players is region switchable for both Bluray and DVD (region free for DVD with region=0). The BD1000 was down to around $68 at GoodGuys at one point. The Thomson BD8350 sold at Australia Post until recently was switchable for both Bluray and DVD like the Laser and was selling for as low as $30 on clearance, but I don't think they are available now. Can't suggest any others that are known to be region switchable, although I believe some of the name brand players such as Sony might be. Easiest solution is to take a known Region 1 locked DVD into JB or other store with players operational on display and try it out.

Belajar akustik gitar Hi all, I received a Thomson model BD-G2602 Blu-ray disc player from Target Australia recently. Its software version is BD V1.0.1.0. Both the packaging and the player are labelled DVD region 4, BD region B. However I was able to successfully play both a region 1 DVD and a region 4 DVD so, as per Bob B and The Full Monte, I can confirm that the BD-G2602 does appear to be DVD region free ‘out of the box’.

Regarding the BD region, I do not have any region A (or region C) discs to try yet. But my guess is that the BD-G2602 is not BD region changeable. Accessing its ‘hidden’ factory page (via the SETUP 8250 method described elsewhere on various forum threads and online discussions) displays a DVD region code of 0 (i.e. Free) and a BD region code of 2 (i.e. However, unlike the (newer) Thomson model BDP-G2603 Blu-ray disc player, it is not possible to move the cursor to focus on the field for the BD region code. And so I am unable to change the value in said field to 1, 2 or 3 for regions A, B and C respectively.

Although a little larger than the BDP-G2603, the BD-G2602 has more connections: 1 x optical audio out, component video out (1 x Y, 1 x Pb, 1 x Pr) and an additional USB port (i.e. 2 x USB instead of one). It also has an additional button (i.e. Play/pause) on the front panel and its contents include an AV cable. So, whilst the BD-G2602 appears to be better value (e.g.

More connection options), I really want a Blu-ray disc player that is BD region changeable. If it isn't, I'll return and exchange it for a BDP-G2603. Does anyone know if the Thomson model BD-G2602 Blu-ray disc player is BD region changeable? And if it is, please advise how to do so. Best regards, M.

Download format undangan.

Slight correction.Region Free is the term applied to DVD 1 – 6 and Zone Free is the correct term for Blu-ray A, B, or C. Not sure if the poster is quoting this info from another source, or if 'ABC Blu-ray Zones' are applicable for this player are an actual fact. Anybody here know the answer? BIG W have been selling the 'LASER' brand of Blu-ray / DVD Players for years now, fully Region Free for DVD and Zone Free for Blu-ray. Never a problem with any form of authority in this country.
