Hi Dean, before I bother you with my problem in detail, just a quick question regarding the usb-serial example. We cannot get the example firmware running on a device connected to a PC installed with windows embedded standard 7 64bit. We can see the device is correctly enumerated using the tool usbview, but the driver installation fails. There is some error-message about missing files. We use your.inf file, patched our vendor and product id into it. We tested on a normal win7 64bit, and this was working perfectly.

BR Marc Dean Camera 12/2/2012, 5:55 น. Marc, I haven't got access to a Windows Embedded machine -- If I remember correctly I had access to a download through my University's MSDNAA program, but that's now expired so I can test this.

Isn't the configuration of Win7 Embedded modular, so you get to choose on installation time what drivers to include? I suspect this is a case of Embedded not including the internal usbser.sys driver files my INF file references, or perhaps it is located in a different directory. Google turns up this thread: Which seems to support this; you need to select the driver package listed there when you create the installation image to get the usbser.sys driver included in the base install. - Dean How Chen 16/9/2014, 2:28 น. Hi How, I never got to try Windows XP Embedded (obligatory 'WHAT YEAR IS IT?'

Meme here) but I read reports of success by copying the missing usbser.sys driver file from a regular Windows installation. With that driver file and the INF driver in the latest LUFA releases - which are now 64-bit compatible - it *should* work. - Dean -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups 'LUFA Library Support List' group.
