I remember Tal's amulet being one of those certain items. Muling it to anywhere via-Shadowmaster would corrupt the character or delete the item.

In fact if you don't trade or have never attempted to, or don't MP or actually interact with the community in any way other than regular posting, then your hacking shouldn't be a bannable offense, and you should just admit to it. The beta was only out for a few months by the time I got my hands on it. It used to be WAY harder than it is now. Try using a melee sorc, they do ridiculous amounts of damage. There favored weapons have an area of effect attack, they strive for life on hit and the attack skill in the first tab at the bottom has an awesome visual as well. The skills have changed quite a few times to tweek difficulty, but it's gotten WAY easier over the years.
